Jonathan Garcia Burac (born June 25, 1998) is a Certified Public Accountant, a law student, personal finance and cryptocurrency enthusiast, and an investor.
Jonathan was born to Filipino parents and raised in Quezon City. He studied Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Polytechnic University of the Philippines and later became a Certified Public Accountant duly licensed by Professional Regulation Commission.
Early life and education
Jonathan Garcia Burac was born on June 25, 1998, in Holy Spirit, Quezon City, where he was also raised.
During his childhood, Jonathan was interested in science and had an interest in computer technology due to playing video games. He attended Holy Spirit Elementary School during his elementary days. During high school, he frequently played video games and watched anime while attending Judge Feliciano Belmonte Sr. High School. Jonathan, contrary to the expectation of many that he would pursue a degree related to computer technology, then went on to pursue a degree in Accountancy at Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila. Upon revival of his interest in tackling topics related to law while watching Face to Face (talk show) during high school, he is now currently pursuing Juris Doctor at Arellano University School of Law.
Career
He started his career as a Certified Public Accountant by working as an Assurance Associate at Ernst & Young for two years and four months. Jonathan then transferred to Commission on Audit (Philippines) and is currently working as a State Auditing Examiner II.
