Jonathan David Casanova (born march 13, 2003), known professionally as FORREST BONES is a rapper, singer, and songwriter born in Fort Myers, Florida and raised from Lehigh Acres, Florida. Jonathan is starting to becoming an established force in the SoundCloud rapping scene after dropping his single "High School Sweethearts" in 2019. He became recognized for his style derived from artists such as, Haroinfather, Savage Ga$p, LilBootyCall, and fatboibari.
Early Life[edit]
Jonathan was born March 13, 2003 in Fort Myers, Florida. He and his family lived in Bonita Springs until he was 14 years old. Later Jonathan and his two younger siblings moved into a small duplex in Lehigh Acres. When asked about his life, Jonathan described himself as a laid back kid who always had a thing for music. Jonathan started to make poetry as early as age 9, then joined his school's orchestra as a trombone player, which over time blended his love for rap music. Jonathan wanted to be a famous producer, he would listen to samples online and experiment with various frequencies of sound before buying a $30 microphone kit he would plug into his phone and record vocals onto GarageBand. His musical Influences range from Ski mask the Slump God, XXXTENTACION, ilyTOMMY, Trippie Redd, Tyler the Creator, Chief Keef, Young Thug.
Career[edit]
Jonathan began his career in summer of 2019 by dropping the single "Red Velvet Lips" but didn't start to gain much exposure until he put out another single which gained hundreds of thousands of plays across all platforms titled "Highschool Sweethearts" a soft toned remix of Lily Potters "Oblivion" blending a slow melancholic sound with new age hip hop lyrics and fitting it together with his iconic deep and raspy voice. Jonathan then took a short break from music claiming "I don't know if this is what I want to do with my life, I know I have the talent and the mindset but this just aint paying no bills". Debut Studio Album[edit]
On June 1, 2021, Jonathan dropped his first Independant studio album "3AM Thoughts" via HEROIN Records. this album includes slow, melancholic, soft-toned, tracks with the instrumentals being mainly guitars, drums, and pianos with lyrics of heart break, love, troubles as a child, and more.
