Jonathan Joestar[edit]

Jonathan Joestar is a protagonist of Phantom Blood in JoJo's Bizzare Adventure. He had a dog named Danny who died of combustion by Dio Brando. He is a honest and kind man but he was known for not having good table manners.

History[edit]

Early Life (1868-1880)[edit]

In the first episode of the 2012 adaption of the series, it was mentioned that his mother died in an accident. He was taken care of by George Joestar I (his father).

Rivalry With Dio (1880-1889)[edit]

He saw that two men were playing with Erina's doll and making fun of her. Then Jonathan ran to them to save her. Although beaten by those men, he left his bloody handkerchief on the field. Somehow after they became friends. When Dio moved in, his father became strict and people turned on him. This was a turning point. After Dio stole Erina's kiss however, Jonathan angrily arrived to the door and Dio had a fight with him which Jonathan won after an uppercut. He reunited with Erina 7 years later after the burning of his home.

Death (1889)[edit]

In around 1888 to 1889 he and Erina got married and sailed to the Americas which was supposed to be a happy moment but it was a sorrow when he found out Dio was still alive when Wang Chan appeared before him and died after wounded when Dio blasted energy from his eyes. When his wife was willing to die with him, Jonathan refused and told her to go on and live with a baby who's mother that died. (which in Part 2 will be known as Lisa Lisa).^[1]

In the 4th episode he learned Hamon from Will A. Zeppeli.

Zoom Punch[edit]

It is an attack that Jonathan launches his fist and punches them but he needs a breathing technique.

Jonathan Joestar had other moves with Hamon.

Sunset Yellow Overdrive- He used that moves to defeat Bruford which was reincarnated by Dio.
