Jonathan Tolpa (born October 24th, 2002) is an American born Soccer player who plays for Syracuse FC as a Goalkeeper, in the National Premier Soccer League and United Premier Soccer League.

Youth Career

Tolpa played for his high school Holland Patent High School from 2018-2021 where he amassed three New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) records. He was also named team Most Valuable player two times. He was named to All-Center State Conference First Team two times. While also being named to the All-Mohawk Valley Region First team and finally Tolpa was nominated for Mohawk Valley Boys Soccer Player of The Year being one of three finalists.

Club Career

Tolpa has played for Syracuse FC. Since the summer of 2019 where he was the youngest player to be rostered for Syracuse FC in the NPSL, all though he did not make any appearances. Tolpa has since then gone on to feature in fourteen matches for Syracuse FC. In the Spring of 2021 Tolpa was invited to trial with NISA side Flower City Union. After a three-day trial he was offered an undisclosed deal, he declines to sign. Tolpa in the fall of 2022 was invited to train with NISA club Syracuse Pulse and invited to the MASL Draft Combine. In the Spring of 2023, he was invited to trial with NISA Side Michigan Stars FC.

Education

Tolpa graduated from Holland Patent High School in the Spring of 2021. After high school he enrolled at Mohawk Valley Community College where he graduated with his associate degree in Sports Management in the Spring of 2022.
