Jong N-VA (Dutch for "Young N-VA") is the youth wing of the New Flemish Alliance party.
The Jong N-VA was founded in 2001 as Ronduit N-VA! before it was renamed in 2005.[1] The group is currently chaired by Viktor Rooseleer.[2] It has sought to create active chapters in university campuses in the Flemish region of Belgium.[3][4]
In 2019, the Jong N-VA caused some debate with a satirical post on Twitter offering to sell Wallonia to US President Donald Trump for one euro in reference to Trump's proposition to buy Greenland from Denmark.[5][6] In 2021, the group also protested against proposed increased curfew measures in Belgium during the COVID-19 pandemic.[7]
