History[edit]
In 2004 Joolz was created by Emile Keunen on the streets of Amsterdam. He witnessed parents struggling with strollers over the canal bridges and vowed to make the best pushchair possible. He named his flegding company Joolz, a play on the word “jewels”. Because he hoped his products would be like jewels to parents for which he made them.[3] [4]
