Jordan Allen (born March 14, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for Rider and Lynn.
Early life and high school career[edit]
Allen attended Dover High School in Dover, Delaware, where he earned the honors of Gatorade Delaware Basketball Player of the Year for the 2015-2016 season.[1]. In his senior season, Allen averaged 20 points and 5 rebounds. He was also a football standout. While a senior in high school, Allen committed to Rider University.
College career[edit]
Rider[edit]
Allen redshirted his first year at Rider College. In his freshman season, Allen had a standout year, where he earned 3rd Team All MAAC honors, averaging 13.4 PPG[2]. Allen had a diminished role in the next season, when he decided to enter the transfer portal.
Lynn[edit]
Allen transferred to NCAA Division II Lynn University.
Professional career[edit]
Canton Charge (2021–2022)[edit]
Allen was drafted by the Canton Charge with the 46th pick in the second round of the 2021 NBA G League Draft. He was the first Dover High School alum to be drafted by a league affiliated with the NBA[3]
Westchester Knicks (2022–present)[edit]
Allen now plays for the Westchester Knicks.
