Jordan Barnes is a professional American basketball player. He is currently playing for Giessen_46ers in the German Bundesliga.

High school career[edit]

Born in St Louis, Missouri, Jordan Barnes attended Christian_Brothers High; where he led the Cadets to the 2013-14 Missouri Division 5 State title; he was named to the All-Metro_Catholic_Conference First Team. He played AAU for the St. Louis Eagles.

College career[edit]

After high school, Barnes attended Indiana State University. He played basketball under head coach Greg Lansing; leading the team to a four season record of 57-66, including a MVC record of 31-41. The team’s record improved every season of his career; he finished his career as the #9 career scorer (1,558) and the #2 3-point scorer (272). He was named to four All-Conference Teams during his career with the Sycamores; the MVC All-Freshman Team (2016-17), the MVC All-Conference 2nd Team (2017-18), the MVC Most-Improved Team (2017-18) and the MVC All-Conference 3rd Team (2019-20). He was a 2-time pick for the NABC All-District 2nd Team (2017-18, 2019-20). As a junior, Barnes was named to the 2018-19 Diamond Head Classic All-Tourney Team as he led the Sycamores to the Finals vs. TCU.

Professional career[edit]

Jordan Barnes was not selected in the 2021 NBA Draft. He spent the 2021-22 season playing for Paderborn Baskets in the German ProA and then signed with Giessen 46ers in the German Basketball Bundesliga for the 2022-2023 Bundesliga season. He was named as the Player of the Month in November 2022.
