Political Career

There is mounting evidence that affluent Democratic Committeeman Mancuso-Cermola is conducting a shadow campaign against Republican incumbent Rob Sampson in Connecticut's 16th Senate district. Mancuso-Cermola, who has not yet committed to running against Rob Sampson, has elevated his profile in the public eye as a well-liked Democratic politician who has been discussed in talks about pursuing higher office, including a potential presidential bid in the future.
