Jordyn Jackson (born December 6, 1984) is an American vocalist, most recently known for her interpretations of jazz, blues, folk, and pop classics on her 2009 album September in the Garden.[1] The album was arranged and recorded in New Orleans at Better Than Ezra’s Fudge Recording Studio. The album was mixed by Shawn Grove at Edible Studios, the private recording studio of Ed Roland, lead singer and songwriter of Collective Soul.

In 2003, she released her first album, I Dreamt a Dream,[2] a studio album of original songs she co-wrote with Kurt Hawthorne. Sonny Lallerstedt, a guitarist who has performed with Elton John both live as well as in the studio, contributed to the album.

In 2004, in collaboration with Lee Miles, Jackson released her second album, Jordyn Jackson. These original songs were recorded in Orlando, Florida, and after being introduced to a promoter, were performed in Italy both live as well as on television.

After several months touring in Italy, Jackson returned to the United States and in 2006, joined Veronica's Veil, the band of Randy Winter, brother of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' singer Ronnie Winter. She performed their existing songs live as well as recording their first album Middle of Nowhere. In 2007, Jackson began co-writing[3][4] songs which were released on their second album Enduring Winter[5] in 2009.

In May 2009, Jackson departed Veronica's Veil to concentrate on solo opportunities. These resulted in her 2009 album September in the Garden. While in New Orleans for her album, Jackson also sang backing vocals on Nick Gill's album.[6][7]
