Jorge Cueva (born February 6, 1974), also known as Mr. Tempo, is a Mexican entrepreneur and restauranteur.[1]
Early Life
Jorge Cueva was born on February 6, 1974 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. At the age of 18, he moved along with his father from Jalisco to California, United States.[2]
Career
In 1991, Cueva moved to Tacoma, Washington, where he worked as a dishwasher, and then as a waiter at a Seattle, WA restaurant for a few years.[3][4]
After working in various American restaurants for some years, he opened his first restaurant, Mucho Loco, in Washington, DC.[5][6]
In 2014, he opened Tempo Cantina in Brea, California. Later, over the next three years, he opened two more restaurants in Anaheim and Downey. In 2017, he opened the King & Queen Cantina restaurant in San Diego.[7][8]
