Jose Rafael Cordero Sanchez (born December 14, 1990 in Barquisimeto, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan animal activist, singer, composer and philanthropist, known for his work of rescuing animals in abandonment, captivity and animal abuse.
Later Jose began to get involved in helping defend and protect animals from zoos, circuses and aquariums. He has offered interviews and talks to discuss animal rights. His campaign against circuses and zoos is called #Noalos Zoologicosy Circos, (No zoos and circuses).
Youth and Family Life[edit]
José Cordero grew up in a middle class family. His father was a bricklayer and his mother a merchant, he has an older sister.
As a child he suffered from school bullying and had few friends, at that time the pets they had in his house became his faithful friends so he has always been helping to defend and rescue the rights of animals, that is how he became an activist.
Beginnings in music[edit]
On August 10, 2020 he released his musical album called Odió a Maduro, it brings 10 songs composed by him and the songs are dedicated to the president of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro and especially talk about the political, economic and social crisis that Venezuela is going through. [1] [2] In early 2021 he released his second album called Politic Monsters with 7 songs of pop genre, and at the end of the year he released his third album entitled Lorena Corazón Verde with 6 songs written by himself.
