Biography[edit]
Born in Madrid, Tejedor was a painter of Genre art, and more specifically Costumbrismo. He began his artistic studies at the Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid.[1] After he received a grant from his local town, he studied in Paris under Vicente Palmaroli in the school of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving.[2] In the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1887 he won second place with his painting, Los padres del celebrante después de la misa nueva(The Parents of the Celebrant after his First Mass) .[3][4]
