José Guillermo Penãlver (born 4 January 2000)[1] is a Venezuelan middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 meters. He competed in the men's 800 meters event at the 2018 World Youth Championship.[2] He graduated American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida. He now attends Saint Agustine's University where he is coached by George "Pup" Williams.[3] In 2018, Jose capture two Venezuelan Junior National tiles in the 800m as well as anchor the winning 4x400m relay team.
