Joseph Usher
Joseph Usher was born 1984 and grew up in Leigh[1], Lancashire, where he attended St Thomas’s Primary School[2] before continuing his education at Lowton High School[3], leaving in 2001. Creative from a young age, Joseph later became an author, publishing The Adventures of Merlin the Magical Cat[4][5][6],[7] a whimsical story inspired by his love of animals and storytelling. Alongside his writing[8], he built a strong presence on social media, amassing a following of over 46,000 on TikTok[9], where he shares engaging content with a growing audience. Joseph continues to develop his creative work by being on stage. He has acted with St Joseph's Players in Leigh Lancashire[10], his acting roles include, Stanley Gardener in "Run for your Wife", Lord Alfred in "A Woman of No Importance" and the Queens Page in "Cinderella". Joseph is a current actor for Wigan Little Theatre. He played Roy in "The Odd Couple"[11] and Prince Valentine in "Goody Two Shows. He continues connecting with fans who appreciate his imagination, humour, and unique voice. He now lives in Westhoughton[12], Bolton with his partner Daniel and Maddie their dog.
Joseph became the chair of the Royal Albert and Edward Infirmary Wigan LGBTQIA+ group, where he was a keen activist for equality and diversity, championing inclusive practices and supporting under-represented voices within the community.[13][14][15]
