Professional boxing career
Josh Ekrem began his professional boxing career in 2004. He trained at Bob Arum's Top Rank Boxing Gym in Las Vegas, Nevada and was promoted by Top Rank Promotions. He was a former International Boxing Organization (IBO) Middleweight World Champion, holding the title from 2004 to 2005.[1] He compiled a professional record of 16 wins and 1 loss, with 13 knockouts.
In 2005, he relinquished the IBO Middleweight Championship.
