Josh Gibson (M.D.) is an American board-certified psychiatrist, management consultant, corporate executive coach, and philanthropist. He is the founder of the Josh Gibson MD Foundation, a national nonprofit entity administering collegiate financial aid, and operates Josh Gibson Coaching, a corporate consultancy advising on enterprise digital transformation, relationship neurobiology, and clinical operational leadership. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gibson has held key executive advisory roles across alternative technology venture studios and healthtech platforms.
Education
Gibson pursued his undergraduate humanities training at Cornell University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He turned to clinical medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he achieved his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). During his medical studies at Columbia, he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Award for Humanism in Medicine.

Following his clinical residency, Gibson served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCSF. In this capacity, he steered enterprise digital transformations and brand scaling strategies for medical, corporate, and consumer-goods industries.
