Early Career[edit]

Horowitz was a producer for various talk shows prior to his on-air career. Most notably he was a producer for Charlie Rose from 1998-2002. After brief stints at US Weekly and Interview Magazine, in 2006, he authored his first book, “The Mind of the Modern Moviemaker”, a collection of conversations with up and coming filmmakers including Jon Favreau, Patty Jenkins, and Todd Phillips.

The sketches have many celebrity regulars including Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Sam Rockwell, and Anna Kendrick.

In 2016, Horowitz co-created and co-wrote a digital series for Comedy Central based on his own misadventures in celebrity journalism called “Junketeers”. The show featured guest stars including Chloe Grace Moretz, Matt Bomer, Bella Thorne, and Josh Duhamel.

In 2020, Horowitz began hosting a digital talk show for Comedy Central, Stir Crazy, later renamed The Untitled Josh Horowitz Talk Show.
