Schneider entered the accounting profession after college and joined a CPA firm. While there, he noticed that numerous companies he worked with were inefficient in the ways that they dealt with employee disengagement at work[3] and the new rise of millennials into the workforce[4]. He decided to create change in the way he best saw fit, and created The Millennial & Employee Engagement Institute in order to best leverage the insights he had gained from his time in industry. His speeches gained the attention of numerous firms and he was hired to speak at dozens of events. He currently speaks at large events ranging from 25 to 2500 attendants. He has spoken at organizations ranging from Sherwin Williams to the Illinois State Board of Education to Bridgestone[5]

Schneider published the book "Generation NEXTLEVEL" in August 2013.[6] This book deals with the challenges of connecting to the next generation of employees, and how business owners and professionals can adapt to the modern era of work. He also published a new book, "5 Days to Your Best Work Yet", recently. A quote from "5 Days to Your Best Work Yet" is, "One of the statements about Millennials that is off base is the premise they are all “job hoppers”. When you look deeper into the root causes of this “job hopping”, we find it’s actually an experience issues. Millennials are not “job hopping” they are “experience hopping”". Both books touch on themes of a modern day discomfort that many employees feel when their current life deviates from their ideal life, and the way that employees/employers can create change to improve employee morale and productivity.

Schneider received his degree in accounting from State University of NYC at Fredonia[7]. He is registered with the speaker registration service Gigmasters[8] and has spoken in a variety of cities. He is currently based in Detroit, Michigan and speaks to organizations and firms regularly[9]

He has been featured in Under30CEO[10] and also in CEOhour talking about business and people performance with strategies for attaining better performance in the workplace. He also runs a blog which has over 1000 unique monthly visitors.[11] The blogs covers a variety of topics related to the modern workplace and how to maximize productivity and happiness in the context of peoples' careers. In addition to his blog, Schneider has also written for the popular website Medium.com.[12]

In a recent post on his twitter account, he stated that "One of the best ways to get your team engaged and improve your company's performance is to help your employees feel like they're playing on a winning team." This quote is similar to the content of his speeches, which have motivational aspects and themes of employee-employer mutual benefit.
