Joshua Foley is a British Filmmaker, he has operated behind cameras for the last 8 years for companies such as Fish for Thought & Sharp's Brewery, producing high quality video and photo content for the respective brands. Josh has functioned as a Content Creator, Videographer, Photographer, Director and Camera Operator for different businesses.[1]
Josh has worked as part of larger film-crews and has also directed videography & photography teams for large-scale events and productions. Josh uses the Blackmagic Camera systems for large-scale productions and the Panasonic GH5's for promotional content. With access to cinema-grade Drones, Camera Stabilizers and equipment; Josh helps create immersive content for brands.[2]
Career[edit]
He began his filmmaking career as a freelance videographer, travelling the UK as a cameraman. His recent credits include work with The Cornwall Air Ambulance,Sharps Brewery, Fish for Thought, Pollaughan Farm, Teal Surf Co, and more.[3]
In 2017 he was appointed Creative Director by Guy Clapson for Loco Visual to help create content for businesses based in Cornwall.[4]
Foley's 2018 web-documentary CAA: New Heli Appeal about Cornwall Air Ambulance's Appeal for a new Emergency Helicopter premiered at the New Heli Appeal event and was commended by the Trust[5]
In 2018 he began work as Fish for Thought's Content Creator producing content for popular YouTube Channel Fish for Thought TV.[6]
In January 2018, Joshua Foley joined Sam Williams in creating an events group called Citizen Dance, who host nightlife events with popular House Music DJ's, Josh operates as Creative Director and has helped to run successful Citizen Dance Boat Parties in the summer of 2018.[7]
In March 2018, Josh was hired to create the Rock Oyster Festival Official Video[8]
Joshua's most recent work has been with Sharps Brewery, working as head videographer for the Doombar Sessions[9]
