Joshua Fried is an American composer, producer, and performance artist currently based in New York City. His work has included headphone-driven performance pieces, live remixing of broadcast radio, and collaborations with They Might Be Giants[1][2], Chaka Khan[3], David First, and Ofra Haza.[4] He presented his pieces Travelogue and Headset Sextet at FISEA'93 and Bang on a Can All Stars '97, respectively.[5][6] His most recent work is under the name Radio Wonderland, using a boombox and laptop to process live radio into dance music.[7]
