Joshua Inserra is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for A-League club Melbourne Victory.
Club career[edit]
Inserra joined Melbourne Victory's academy in 2021, where he played an important role in the club's Under 18, 20 and NPL Senior sides. In July 2023, he signed a scholarship contract with the club until the end of the 2025-26 A-League season.[1]
Inserra made his first-team debut for Melbourne Victory on 17 July 2023 in their 2023 Australia Cup playoff against the Newcastle Jets.[2]
Inserra made his A-League debut against the Central Coast Mariners on 3 December 2023 as a 77th minute substitution.[3]
International career[edit]
In May 2023, Inserra was called up by the Australia U-20 team for the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) Portugal Sub-18 International Tournament.[4]
In October 2023 Inserra was called up the Australia U-20 team for the Marbella Week of Football, a series of friendlies featuring the U-19 teams of Belgium, Denmark, France, Switzerland and The Netherlands.[5][6]
