Joshua Martins
Sunday Joshua Martins is an actor and comedian from Nigeria. He is known as De General or The Bag God.
Joshua Martins was born on 15 March 1999 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. He was raised and went to primary school there.[1]
In 2015, after graduating from secondary school, Joshua decided to become an actor. The idea came from his friend who told him about a movie audition. It was his debut in cinematography in the lead role.[2]
He studied at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).[3]
Activity
In 2018, Joshua Martins started his career as a comedian. He created a duo named Dream Comedy with his friend, Major.[4]
In 2019, De General released his comedy sketch “When your guy is a real gee” and it became his most popular video.[5][6]
Then he published his first action-comedy video carrying a bag and gained the nickname “The Bag God”.[7]
Awards
On 1 June 2021, he was nominated as the Social Comedian of the Year by Densa Awards.[8]
Interesting facts
Joshua wanted to be a lawyer at school, but little did he know that acting and directing was his true talent.
He is good at dancing. He appeared as a dancer, actor and comedian in different videos made by Ayo The Creator, etc.[5]

De General is not married, nor is he in any relationship known to the public.[9]
