Joshua Saavedra (born August 10, 2003) is an American college soccer player, who currently plays as a midfielder[1] for Long Island University.
Saavedra played for the Inter Miami CF academy.
College career
Saavedra began playing collegiate soccer ahead of the 2023 NCAA Division I men's soccer season. Saavedra made 18 appearances, scoring seven goals as a freshman for Long Island. He was named the Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, and was named a Freshman All-American by Top Drawer Soccer.[2]
Senior career
Fort Lauderdale CF
Saavedra made his league debut for the club on July 18, 2020, coming on as a 63rd-minute substitute for Francisco Raggio in a 2–0 defeat against Greenville Triumph.[3]
