Joshua Rodi Danyil (born 26 September 1994) is a Youth Envoy from Nigeria, and has played a vital role in youth matters both locally and internationally. He is currently undertaking his Bachelor’s degree in England, United Kingdom.
In 2017, he emerged as Youth Envoy and Delegate. Since then, he has represented Nigerian youths at the United Nations Youth Conference in New York, with other young leaders from around the World, who are dedicated to helping to bring the UN 2030 SDG Goals to life in their countries. He is a strong advocate for youth involvement in Nigeria, and was recently appointed Ambassador for African Leaders Factory Initiative (ALFI) in 2018.
Early life and education
Joshua Rodi Danyil was born to an Ngas family on 26 September 1994, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, to his father, James Rodi Danyil, and mother, Sandra Anne Danladi Shemu. He is the second of two children.
He attended primary school in Abuja, Nigeria, at St. Aloysius Nursery and Primary School, and finished his high school days at St. Johns College, Jos, Nigeria, where he was the Student Editor for the year 2013. He was an active member of the school community.
