Josip Vujčić (born 28 April 1980) is a Croatian film director and screenwriter. He is also a self-taught actor.

Biography[edit]

Vujčić was born 28 April 1980 in Makarska, Croatia.

He studied film and television directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts of the University of Zagreb.

Vujčić made his feature acting debut in The Show Must Go On (2010).

Where the Penguins Fly[edit]

Where Penguins Fly (Gdje pingvini lete) is a Croatian comedy-drama film directed by Vujčić. It was released in 2008.[1]

Synopsis[edit]

On the same day several interrelated characters try to change their own lives and, in the process, change the lives of others.

Soundtrack[edit]

The original music was composed by the band Braca uboga. Soundtrack also features a new version of the 80's hit 'Da sam ja netko' (originally recorded by the cult Bosnian band Indexi) performed by Braca uboga & Vanda Winter.
