The Journal of Commercial Biotechnology is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal covering the business of biotechnology. Topics covered include biotechnology management, policy, finance, law, and regulations.
History
The journal was established in 1992 by the British publisher Henry Stewart Publications as the Journal of Biotechnology in Healthcare,[1][2] obtaining its current name in 1998.[3] The journal was later published by Palgrave MacMillan[4] and was subsequently purchased by ThinkBiotech in 2010.[5] The editor-in-chief is Xiaokai Yang (University of Economics in Katowice).
