The Journal of New Zealand Studies is a diamond open access academic journal in the field of New Zealand history.[1] It is associated with the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand Studies at the Victoria University of Wellington, founded by will of J D Stout.[2]
The journal is hosted on an Open Journal Systems platform by the Victoria University of Wellington.[3]
History[edit]
Founded as the A4 magazine-type format Stout Centre Review by the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand Studies in 1990, it changed to New Zealand Studies in 1995 and then Journal of New Zealand Studies in 2002.[4]
In 2012 the Journal of New Zealand Studies was the first journal to be published on the then-new OJS platform by the university.[5]
