The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM) is a monthly medical journal and is currently the only peer-reviewed journal in Urgent Care. It was founded by Lee Resnick and David Stern in 2006 in Chicago, IL. JUCM is divided into clinical content and practice management sections. It is the official journal of the College of Urgent Care Medicine (CUCM) and the Urgent Care Association (UCA) [1] . It is also the official journal of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care (RNZCUC)[2].
JUCM began publishing monthly original research in Urgent Care beginning in March 2020. The current editor-in-chief is Joshua Russell. The publisher is Stu Williams, the executive editor is Harris Fleming, the senior clinical editor is Michael Weinstock. [3]
