The Journal of Paramedic Practice is a monthly healthcare journal that has a focus on emergency medical services and Paramedic practice.[1] It was established in 2008 and is published by the Mark Allen group[2]. The journal claims to have a readership of 18,000 per issue and a circulation of 8500.[3] In 2012 the Irish Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council agreed to circulate the journal to Irish ambulance stations.[4]. The consultant editors are; Lynda Sybson, Pete Gregory and Ian Peate.

The Journal of Paramedic Practice publishes a wide range of prehospital care work[5]. This includes:

The journal offers CPD activities.[6]. The journal is named as one of the partner organisations of the UK's Association of Air ambulances.[7] The journal publishes the winning essays from the UK Carole Furber Award, which is organised by the College of Paramedics.[8][9] The College of Paramedics also cites research from the Journal in its Curriculum Guidance document[10].
