"Independent Journalist Association for Peace" (AJKF (it.); - An international association of experts in the field of media. The main purpose of AJKF is countering manipulation in the media, protection of the rights and freedoms of journalists and assistance in providing professional coverage.

History[edit]

The association was formed in 2015 by a group of independent journalists from Europe, America and Africa, who worked on the humanitarian project Material Evidence. May 20, 2015 International AJKF conference devoted to the development of independent journalism hosted in Vienna (Austria).

Educational Program[edit]

"Independent Journalist Association for Peace" improving the professionalism of the media by implementing a number of educational programs. Members of the Association have the right to attend lectures, seminars and workshops, take part in discussions of actual problems of modern journalism, to make proposals on the topics of educational programs and participate in their implementation.

Grants[edit]

"Independent Journalist Association for Peace" contributes to independent journalism projects. for this purpose realized a system of grants, aimed at supporting authors working on the sharp and controversial issues of modern society.[1]

Humanitarian project «Material Evidence»[edit]

«Material Evidence» International humanitarian project dedicated to the history of contemporary armed conflicts, problems of the civilian in conflict zones, and the victims of the fighting.the project is based on the a photo exhibition, which are supplemented by real items from the fields as a conclusive proof of the authenticity of exposures.

The organization provides advice to journalists, providing quick adaptation to the specific of the region of operation, expert assessment of materials, legal support,assistance in publishing, etc.

"Independent Journalist Association for Peace" is non-profit organization, leading its activities through donations.

Association has an open membership in the organization can join any media representative, independent authors, and persons connected with the work of the media.[2]
