Joyce Crick is an English translator of German literary works. These include The Interpretation of Dreams[1] by Sigmund Freud, The Metamorphosis and Other Stories[2][3] by Franz Kafka, A Hunger Artist and Other Stories[4] by Kafka, Selected Tales[5] by the Brothers Grimm, and Joke and Its Relation to the Unconscious[6] by Freud.
Crick was a senior lecturer in German at University College London for many years. She won the Schlegel-Tieck Prize in 2000[7] for her translation of The Interpretation of Dreams.
