Joana Maria Soares Azevedo (born 1 December 1982), commonly known as Jozita, is a Portuguese futsal player and coach. She plays as a pivot for Leões Porto Salvo. A native of Marco de Canaveses, she has also been a member of the Portugal national futsal team.
Career
Jozita is an experienced futsal player in the Portuguese leagues. Throughout her career, she has played for several clubs, including Santa Luzia and, more recently, Leões Porto Salvo. In addition to her playing career, she has also taken on a coaching role at her current club.
International Career
Jozita has represented Portugal at the senior level. She has 7 caps and scored 1 goal for the national team.
