Jasper Grey Clarence known as jsprgry (born September 22, 2002) is a Malaysian singer, songwriter, and rapper. He first gained attention in 2020 when he uploaded the song "Penemanku" to Youtube which got a response of up to 7,813 thousand views on YouTube and got very positive feedback. The song was written by himself.[1]
Early Life
Jasper Grey Clarence was born in Papar, Malaysia, on September 22, 2002. He realized his talent for writing lyrics and singing when he was still a kid, yet he did not dare to show his talent to the public as he was still not convinced at that time. But he continued to write songs.[2] A few years after his mother passed away, he released a single titled "MOMMY", the genre in the song first released is Hip Hop. However, the song received less response. But his struggle in making songs is not over yet, he released songs very consistently, he released one song per week until he released his 21st single called “Penemanku” which got a response of up to 7,813 thousand views on YouTube and got very positive feedback. After getting very positive feedback, he decided to switch genres to R&B/Soul, but he still remains active in the hiphop scene. In March 11, 2021, he came back with a new album called "sentimental" and has been active since then.
