Jay Taylor, better known by his stage name Juda Jay, is an American rapper from California.[1] He is recognised as one of the founders of multiple cross over genres of Hip Hop such as Contemporary Hip Hop, Meme Hip Hop, and Hip Hopera as fine art. He is recognised as a international creator who pioneered the "Free Thinkers of Hip Hop" resurgence movement in the US and France.[2][3]

Background Juda Jay was born in Los Angeles and raised in Hercules, California.[2] His father is a African American/Native American church choir singer,[4] from New Orleans California, and his mother is a African American from Hollygrove New orleans Louisanna,[5].[6] For the greater part of his childhood, he was raised predominantly by his mother's side of his family as his father was the only one from his native American side, until he had gotten older when other paternal family-members also arrived.[5] He has four older siblings .

Juda Jay went to Pinole and Hercules High School in the East Bay area,[8] and attended San Francisco State University, and later INSEEC university in Paris France where he graduated in International Business.[9] He skateboarded and played football during his youth, through which he met his childhood friends.[2] While studying abroad in Paris,he worked with university youth orgnaisation for study abroad while making music on the side as a hobby.[2] After living in Paris for 1 year he decided to drop out of school to concentrate on his solo music career.[9]

Career DFMB Records Juda Jay first gained notoriety outside of the Bay Area as a international Artist. In 20&é, after signing with independent label DFMB his first international Hit was "Princessable" which lead to multiple international tours and more videos tha cirulated around Paris shot in locations, such as the catacombs, Monparnass, and Bastille.

In February 2014, Juda Jay signed a deal with Universal Music Group, for a reported 1.2 million dollars. Between 2012 to 2014, he released three mixtapes and 1 albulm named Pari-fornia. He released their debut studio album, Parisfornia, on October 12, 2013, which peaked at #62 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart.[18]

Solo career It wasn't until juda Jay began his solo career in 2015, he started to cultivate a loyal French fan base. Juda Jay has toured Internationally in Europe, USA, and Africa and has collaborated with producers such as Wisla and BLV. Juda Jay has been featured on Radio FG, Daymolition, CanalStreet, and Hit Radio in France [22][23][24]

Juda Jay released a series of mixtapes from 2014 to 2016. His first official album Strickly For My GVO's was released April 15, 2017.[

In March 2015, Juda Jay performed at the Africa Grand Prix in Morocco
