Judith Hoban
Judith Anne Hoban GCStJ (born 1953) is a long-serving volunteer of The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem in New Zealand.
Order of Saint John
Hoban joined the St John Area Committee in 1976 while living in Amuri. Since then, she has served in a variety of local, regional and national level roles, including the senior volunteer roles in the Priory of New Zealand of Director of Volunteers and Priory Hospitaller.[1]
Recognition
In recognition of her service to St John in New Zealand, she was admitted into The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem as a Serving Sister in 1992 and was promoted to Officer in 1994, Commander in 1998 and Dame of Grace in 2002.[2][3][4][5] Finally, in 2013 she was promoted to Dame Grand Cross, the highest grade of the Order.[6]
