Judith Rawlins
Judith Rawlins, born Judith Ellen Riedel, was an American actress.
She was born on June 24, 1936 in Wisconsin, USA as a child to musician, a theme that would follow her throughout life, having been reported to date singer Elvis Presley and her second husband being the crooner Vic Damone.
She found work as a model, actress and animator for Walt Disney but it was while working as a secretary to Vic Damone that their romance began resulting in a marriage in 1963. By then, according to Damone's memoir "Singing was the easy part", they had been a couple for several years.
She later studied the Bahai faith, influenced by her husband and later converted.
They would be in an car accident where she, pregnant, lost their anticipated baby, but would in future ahead have three daughters of their own Victoria, Andrea and Daniella. She also became the stepmother of Perry Damone (1955-2014, radiopersonality), the son from her husband's first marriage to actress Pier Angeli when he return from Europe to live after an international custody battle where Rawlins was seated next to her husband in court and outside, having the role as a housewife.
Rawlins and Damone's happiness did not last and in 1971 their divorce was finalized.
Tragedy struck as she died in her home in 1974, at the young age of 38. The cause of death was believed to have been an accidental overdose of prescribed medication for pain.
