Jules Gabriel Herbette

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Jules Gabriel Herbette (Born in Paris on August 5, 1839, - Died in Paris on December 18, 1901) was a French diplomat who was Ambassador of France in Berlin (1886-1896).

Jules Herbette is part of a period of diplomatic balance that must take into account the application of the Treaty of Frankfurt following the end of the Franco-Prussian War and the refusal of the political class as of the French opinion of the annexation by Germany of the provinces of Alsace-Lorraine.
