Jules Marie (born 1 September 1991) is a French tennis player[2]. Following his withdrawal from the international circuit in 2015, he committed full-time to the secondary circuit, notably participating in Futures tournaments.

He concurrently manages a channel on YouTube[3].

Biography[edit]

Early life[edit]

Jules Marie was born in Caen on September 1, 1991. After obtaining a scientific baccalauréat and a degree in Sports Science (STAPS), he embarked on a professional career in 2011.

Career[edit]

In December 2021, he clinched the Caen Open title, notably defeating Lucas Pouille, David Goffin and Ugo Humbert in the final[4]. During the same year, he secured the top spot in the CNGT rankings.

Seven years after stepping away from the international circuit, he set the goal of participating in a Grand Slam. In 2024, he ultimately succeeded in reaching the qualifying rounds of the Australian Open, where he notably defeated his compatriot Benoît Paire[5]
