Julia E. Vogt
Julia E. Vogt (born May 23, 1982) is Head of Medical Data Science Group[1] at ETH Zürich. Before joining ETH Zürich, she was an assistant professor at the University of Basel, and prior to that a postdoctoral fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz.[2]
She earned a master's degree in mathematics at the University of Konstanz, and a PhD from the University of Basel under the supervision of Volker Roth[3]. Her research activity concerns research and developing machine learning techniques for precision medicine, the life sciences, and biomedical data analysis.[2] Her research focuses on the use of Artificial Intelligence for the medical field[4].
