Julia Lescova (Latvian: Jūlija Ļeščova, Russian: Юлия Лещова) is a Latvian Russian model, who was the 2011 face of Guess.

Early life

Julia Lescova was born in Daugavpils, Latvia on July 4th,[1] of ethnic Russian descent, and studied music and dance from a young age, enrolled by her mother in ballet school at age 5, and piano at age 7. She studied Latin American and ballroom dancing for 7 years before taking an interest in modeling.[3]

Modeling

Lescova was noticed by Latvia’s most prestigious modeling agency and within a year, was working consistently. She landed her first cover for a national Latvian magazine at the age of 16.[3]

In 2006, she won the "Best Model of the World" award in Turkey.[4]

In 2011, she appeared in Esquire Magazine for the series, "Me in My Place".[5] In December 2011 she appeared on the covers of FHM Australia and UMM Canada magazines.[1] In January 2012, Julia appeared on the cover of FHM Russia magazine.[1] In February 2013, Julia appeared on the covers of FHM France[6] and FHM Latvia magazines.[7][1] In August 2015, she appeared on the cover of treats! magazine, shot by photographer Antoine Verglas.[8] In October 2015, Julia appeared on the cover of L'Officiel magazine Ukraine.[9] In November 2015, she appeared on the cover of L'Officiel magazine Latvia.[10]

Personal life

Lescova resides in Los Angeles, CA.
