Julia Suzuki
Julia Suzuki is a British children's writer. Her first novel, Yoshiko and the Gift of Charms, was published in 2011. It is the introductory novel of the Dragor series, a children's fantasy series set in a mythical world of dragons.
Life and career
Suzuki grew up in Fazeley, Staffordshire.[1] Before becoming an author, she was a business partner with leisure entrepreneur David Lloyd in a property business.
Suzuki was the first author to be featured on Living Social, appearing on the site on 15 December 2011.[2]
Suzuki was awarded the British Arts Council Award in 2014.[citation needed]
The Land of Dragor
The Land of Dragor is an adventure quest series involving the challenges between dragons, humans, and evil dragsaurs. The first limited edition introductory novel, Yoshiko and the Gift of Charms, was published by Steve Brookes Publishing and launched in hardback in April 2011 at the London Book Fair.[3] The 2014 edition was published by John Blake as The Gift of Charms.
