Julie Sygiel is an American entrepreneur and CEO of Dear Kate, a high-tech underwear which protects women against menstruation and minor incontinence leaks.[1][2] She was one of BBC 100 Women[3] and GoLocal Prov's 12 to Watch in 2012[4]
In 2014, Sygiel launched the Ada Collection named after Ada Lovelace, the world’s first computer programmer, in what she described as an effort to 'put real women in tech in pieces from the collection'.[5]
