Julie Tsirkin is an American journalist who works as a congressional correspondent for NBC News.[1]

Tsirkin earned a degree from Rutgers University in 2017 in Journalism and Media Studies. She initially studied for 3 years in preparation for law school, but decided to change her career path to journalism. She worked as an intern at MSNBC during the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election season.[2]
Career[edit]
Tsirkin worked as an assistant producer for NBC News White House Correspondent Hallie Jackson. She also helped MSNBC anchor Katy Tur with the research for her book Unbelievable: My Front Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History.
Personal life[edit]
Tsirkin's parents escaped from the Soviet Union in the 1990s and settled in the United States.[3]
