Junglee Pictures, is the films division of – The Times of India, is an emerging studio in the business of development, Production and distribution of Hindi feature films established by the MD of The Times Group, Mr. Vineet Jain in the year 2014.
Junglee Pictures produces entertaining films for the Indian theatre-going audience as well as the ever-growing Diaspora market. The company also co-produces films in collaboration with creative minds from the Indian film industry Bollywood and International talent from across the world.

Junglee Pictures first film was the family drama Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), directed by Zoya Akhtar. The film features an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar, with a voice-over performance by Aamir Khan..[1] [2]
Bangistan, a Bollywood comedy satire film directed by Karan Anshuman starring Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat was Junglee Pictures next release in the year 2015[3] [4]. The next release after it was Talvar , which is a fictional dramatization of the true-life events revolving around AARUSHI TALWAR murder case investigation. The thriller is a work of fiction, based on one of the most intriguing and talked about double murder case in recent Indian history. The film stars Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neeraj Kabi and Sohum Shah in leading roles [5]. At the 61st Filmfare Awards, Talvar won the Filmfare Award for Best Editing (A. Sreekar Prasad).[6] It also won Best Adapted Screenplay at the 63rd National Film Awards.[7]
In 2017, the company produced Indian romantic comedy film Bareilly Ki Barfi, directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and written by the Dangal fame writer duo Nitesh Tiwari and Shreyas Jain. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon and Rajkummar Rao [8] [9]. The film got eight nominations at the 63rd Filmfare Awards, including Best Film, Best Supporting Actress for Seema Bhargava and won Best Director for Tiwari and Best Supporting Actor for Rao.
Junglee Pictures recent film is Raazi released on 11th May 2018, directed by Meghna Gulzar[10] [11]. It features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is inspired by real events.[12][13]. The film was made in collaboration with Dharma Productions.

Junglee Pictures have Chuck Russell's ‘Junglee’ starring Vidyut Jammwal, ‘Junglee’ is a family adventure film which revolves around the unique friendship between a man and elephant[14] [15] [16] and Amit Sharma's ‘Badhaai Ho’ is a coming-of-age story of a family as it grapples with some unexpected news. The film follows the impact of the news on the family and how the members deal with it in their own way. The film stars starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra. [17] [18] [19] [20] [21]
Junglee Pictures will also be producing Vishal Bhardwaj's crime-thriller film based on the murder of an 8-year old that happened in Ryan International School, Delhi[22] [23] [24] [25]. The company has also announced that they will be entering the digital space with an adaption of Arnab Ray's novel into a web series [26] [27] [28]
