Just Charlie is a 2017 British drama film, directed by Rebekah Fortune and written by Peter Machen.
The film had its world premiere at the Guadalajara International Film Festival on March 11, 2017.
Synopsis[edit]
Charlie (Harry Gilby) is a young transgender girl whose family struggles to understand her gender identity. Despite being skilled at and enjoying football, Charlie turns down the opportunity to join a Premier League Academy. This, and her coming out as transgender, leads to conflict between Charlie and her father (Scot Williams).
