History
The website launched in 2013, initially branded as Yellow Bulldog[1] with outlet stores on eBay, Amazon, Rakuten and GAME marketplace sites. The website was rebranded to Geek Store in 2018, but they were unable to trademark the new brand, due to a legal conflict with another online retailer whose name had aural similarities.[2]
Whilst operating under the 'Geek Store' name, a shop was opened in Hull, UK. However, it closed two years later due to COVID-19 forced store closures in the UK.[3][4]
In early 2021, Geek Store rebranded to Just Geek with websites in the UK, Europe and North America.
