Justin Lindeboom is an Assistant Professor of European Law at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He holds degrees in Law and History and earned an LL.M. degree from University College London. Lindeboom obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Groningen, focusing on autonomy, legality, and pluralism in the EU legal order. His research covers various aspects of constitutional law, legal philosophy, EU and global competition law, and EU internal market law.

Lindeboom's research aims to address several puzzles in EU constitutional law, including the doctrines of autonomy, primacy, and direct effect. He employs analytical jurisprudence as a framework to provide new insights into these puzzles, drawing from legal positivism, non-positivism, legal-sociological systems theory, and other relevant perspectives.
