Justin Mullikin (born December 12, 1985, in La Crosse, Wisconsin) is a semi professional race car driver. He drives the No. 51 Nascar Grand National Sportsmen at La Crosse Speedway in West Salem Wisconsin.[2]
Racing career[edit]
Mullikin began racing in 2005 in Wisconsin at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway in the Hornets division, in which he competed until the end of the 2006 season. In 2008 he began competing in the Nascar Grand National Sportsmen division. This division falls under the Whelen All American Series. He competed in this division for six seasons (2008-2013) and plans to compete in this series in 2014. He is perhaps best known for being one of a handful of openly gay drivers in semi-professional/professional racing. He has used various forums to advocate for LGBT rights and lend his support to LGBT youth.[3]
