Justin Paul Hill is a British record producer, mixing engineer, and vocalist known for his work in the progressive metal and rock genres. He is best known as an original member and co-vocalist of the influential band SikTh.

Career

Hill began his music career as an original member and co-vocalist of SikTh, a band credited with helping pioneer the progressive metal and djent scenes. He performed on the majority of SikTh's releases, including the albums The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild (2003) and Death of a Dead Day (2006), as well as the EPs Let the Transmitting Begin (2002), How May I Help You? (2002), and Opacities (2015).[1]

Hill left SikTh in 2016 to focus on his career as a producer and mixing engineer.[2][3]

In late 2022, Hill rejoined SikTh for a series of anniversary shows, marking his return to the band.[4]

Since then, he has continued his involvement with SikTh as a co-vocalist.

Production work

As a producer, mixing engineer, and mastering engineer, Hill has focused on studio and post-production work within the rock and metal scenes.[5] He has developed a reputation for his technical approach and attention to detail in mixing and production.[6]
